Mr. Sutherland joined R&P in 2020 as the Director of Navy Professional Support Division. He has over 25 years of Naval experience associated with surface ships, ship acquisition, and program management. He started his Naval career as a Surface Warfare Officer after graduating from Pennsylvania State University ROTC Program. Upon leaving the Navy in 2003, he provided acquisition and program support to Naval Sea Systems Command and United States Coast Guard programs, managing several professional support services contracts, to include the CG(X) Program, Ships GEM (Formerly AM), and Team Ships Front Office. Mr. Sutherland earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Pennsylvania State University in 1996; and his Master of Arts degree in Organizational Psychology from National University in 2003.
