Mr. Bernard (BJ) Ryder and Mr. John Capriotti co-founded Reliability & Performance Technologies (R&P) in 2001. From the inception of R&P, he has supported the Navy’s LPD 17 Program (PMS 317), LCS Program (PMS 501) and Amphibious Warfare Program (PMS 377). Prior to co-founding R&P, Mr. Ryder was an In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) at NSWC Philadelphia (NAVSSES) and he has extensive experience in naval ship acquisition and in-service engineering support in the following areas: shipboard power generation, distribution, and control systems; military specification electrical testing; and new technology insertion on shipboard electrical systems. Mr. Ryder has also done extensive work on variable speed drive motor control systems. Mr. Ryder earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University in 1991.
